AIM Kidz 1: Before & After School Care
AIM offers transportation to and from some of the schools in this area. After we transport students here, we provide them with an after-school snack. They
are divided into groups by age for afternoon activities. The groups rotate
between a variety of activities, including Kids Korner, The Pit, group games, outside
activities, and low-organized games. The children that have homework are allowed
to do this each day with adult supervision.
We offer transportation service to the following area schools
- Central Primary/ Middle (5th & 6th Grade) Bus pick up from AIM
- Our vans transport to the following schools:
- Oak Grove Primary
- Dutchtown Primary
- Duplessis Primary
- Prairieville Primary (New 2008-09!)
- Prairieville Middle (5th and 6th graders)

Daily Program of After school Activities
Morning Activities:
Board games and inactive games are done in the morning as children arrive randomly. Group activities are done and the children can choose whom they are with and what they do. No breakfast is served but we leave before 8:00 am so the kids get to school in time to eat there.
Afternoon Activities: Snack is served as soon as the children arrive at AIM. Please check the monthly snack schedule. IF your child does not like what is being served or they have a food allergy, you can send them a snack in their book bag.
When your child finishes snack students have their choice to do homework or play. Their play consists of; going out side, weather permitting, going to AIM to play in pit, Kids Korner, or floor for games. When they return to AIM Kidz they can continue to play active games or they can do board games or other low organized activities.
Program PLUS Extra Activities
This program allows your child to go into a structured specialized physical sport after they finish with free play and snack. We give you a $15.00 discount off the regular session cost for your participation in these programs. We offer specialized classes in
gymnastics or tumbling.
You must PRE ENROLL in these activities at the Gym office. We get them dressed for you and you can pick them up at the Athletic Facility when their class is over. Please
contact us for availability.
