Motor Skills Development (M.S.D.)

This program is designed to incorporate physical coordination with basic movement. Children ages 2-4 participate in this program. We have a special area called Kids Korner designed just for them! This area has 6 rooms divided by 4 ft. walls and smaller sized equipment. Classes range between 45-60 minutes in length.

The MSD classes are designed to develop hand–eye coordination as well as basic motor skills, along with the fundamentals of gymnastics and tumbling. The skills that are learned in this Program can be carried over to various sports, not just gymnastics!

Friend and Me

This class is for boys and girls ages 2 to 3. These classes are 45 minutes in length once per week. A friend must take the class with the student as the child has the opportunity to learn and trust a new environment. As the children develop, they move on to the next level of learning by themselves with a teacher.

3 & 4 Year Old Motor Skill Development Class

This class is for boys and girls ages 3 to 4. These classes are 1 hour in length once per week. There are four skill levels to graduate through.

This class is designed for the development of the large muscle groups preparing them for ALL sports as they get older. Using gymnastics equipment as the main teaching tool, basic motor skill development is achieved.

Our MSD classes are divided by levels (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced). In Spring 2007, we introduced new lesson plans, new area set-ups, and new music additions to our warm-ups and closings.
